I’m working on this one now.
Yes! We found a small parking spot a bit uphill from the river. The small “road” that went into the River Camp might be OK for motorbikes, but for cars it would be a scary an virtually unsafe “project” to go inside. On the way down one of our hiking buddies had a “slippery” experience, so in the last part You might see some hands in the air (not because of a “hands-up” command, but to regain control on slippery concrete)!
Anyhow; there was an opportunity to mingle with the locals “up there” and some plants were bought when we decided to go back.
We are REALLY talking going downhill in this area! As You do the decent You almost need to put Your backpack on Your chest instead of Your back. (OK; not THAT bad, but certainly going down – not thinking about going Up!)
This is what Tagbao River Camp bridge/crossing look like when normal weather conditions. Wonder what it looks like here when there’s a bagio on top of it all?! No wonder the walking bridge is elevated! But the area here is still nice, and we love the sound of running water that soothes the mind. (Would like to wash for gold here….)
Only issue here – loads of cow shit; but of course we are in the nature, so what else to expect!? We are used to a lot of other “shit” in the city, so that’s why why go to places like this – right?!
And NEXT SECTION – KIDS HAVING FUN!!!!
IMPORTANT NOW? COFFEE!!
No morning coffeee; so what is important now for a “brain-starter” is a couple of “mugs” with black coffee! When THAT is done we can start thinking of lunch – OK!?
Lunch!!!!
Lunch coming! From New burner and cooking set bought in Brownskin Outdoor in Emall!
Hotdogs, Spam and pan de Sal coming soon!
Rosel and Vaniza’s “walkabout” in Tagbao River Camp area.
Terje is testing the “cap-mounted” Gopro Hero 3. Need more experience on this, and get used to more sloooow movements not to make subscribers dizzy!!!
Rosel and Vaniza buying veeery nice vegetables in a local market for veeery good prices!!
Fresh and nice products!!!
Nice view alongside the road when leaving Tagbao River Camp. Nice flowers and good view.
The access to Tagbao River Camp is veeery steep, but worthwhile doing the trip.
