BEING UPDATED!
This is a hike that in fact was our very first one, in an attempt to loose some weight and get in a better shape, and this “event” took place in october 2021. We do not wish to talk more about this first trip and what our stamina was like at that time!! (Hahahahahahahaha…) We keep that as a well hidden secret! Hopefully we are now on our way in the right direction, but the feeling is that this will be a looooong way to go.
At this last approach on Spartan Trail we also had company from some family members that was a nice experience when comes to the company. But it was a rather “depressing” experience when we realized how BIG difference there is from two hiking buddies “north” of 40 and far “north” of 60, with lots of extra-carry (And we are not talking of only the extra-carry in the backpacks), but also the bodily “built-in“.
